Where is everyone?
Okay, so I am wondering where everyone has gone and why they have gone? There used to be lots of conversations on the forum, where is everyone? Maybe a better question is why do people not post? There are a 193 registered users and about 5 people post. I am guilty of not posting as well, but I am trying to figure out how we can get the conversation going again. Here are some reasons I think people do not post are there more?
- Content. Not interested in the topics being posted. What topics would you like to talk about?
Fancy URLs
did you notice the new “pretty” URLs (web addresses)? I was really tired of the node/289 so i changed to a nicer forums/general_discussion/name_tag_poll
what do you think?
the user pages are now /people/jeffmincey and you can access all the tags at /tags and for specific tags /tags/unconference
Threaded Comments
I just added a new threaded comments feature. Now you can reply to an individual comment as well instead just the entire post. This should allow sub-topics to be expanded and followed with greater ease. Two things to keep in mind are:
1. new comments might not always be at the bottom of the page anymore
2. if you want to reply to the original post then the form at the bottom is what you are looking for.
3. you can only reply to a comment; you can not reply to the reply. this should prevent things from getting too far off topic.

What do you think about talkinchurch.org as a new URL for the Journey?
Is takethejourney.org still the best url to convey what we’re about?
I think that there are a couple of options here and if we want to change the URL then this is the perfect opportunity; we wouldn’t have to get rid of takethejourney.org it could redirect to the new site or serve another purpose.
