Dying to yourself to become a true servent of God
This morning I sat with a cup of coffee watching the morning news. They were doing a piece on the death of Dr. Martin Luther King. They asked a questing to his daughter Rev. Bernice King who at the time of her fathers death was around 7-8 years old. The question was,”What helped you over come your fathers death at such a young age”? She replied,”Learning the meening of Dying to yourself, to become a true servant of God”. When she was saying this it seemed to me that I have so much more to learn about being a true man of God. I started asking myself, Have I really, truley died to myself? This is so powerful! So I have a question myself. Am I a true servant of God if I have not died to myself?
