Here’s the text of the prayer that Teresa revised from John 17.
Thank you Teresa!
God,
We unite our hearts and voices today to praise and thank you.
We pray for our community to unite our purposes with yours, to be One with you.
We yearn to be united with all your other disciples in San Jose, our state, our country and our world.
As One we offer ourselves to you to walk your path carrying your message of truth and love to all.
We humbly submit these things to you so that we may better do your will:
We ask for your protection on our journey each day.
We ask for spiritual, emotional, psychological, and relational health and growth.
We ask for your strength, power, and love when our own fail us.
Let us know you so that the world can know you.
Let us reflect your truth so that the world can know your truth.
Let us reflect your glory so that the world can see your glory.
Let our unity reflect your victory over worldly divisions and distinctions to reveal
Your power, your love, and your way of life.
May we do your will always!
