A Day in the Monastery

Today we will conclude our Modern Day Monk series by offering everyone a chance to put into practice what we have learned this month. Sunday’s challenge is to get up early (4:30am) and begin ‘worship’ before we leave home. With personal prayer, devotion, meditation on scripture prior to our gathering, we expect the community of worship on Sunday to be outstanding.
We’ll have stations ready with communion, places to pray, and both reflective and celebration worship music.

Well, okay. . . .but

On August 2nd, 2009 chasbo says:

Please don’t expect me to get up at 4:30 a.m., I’ll be a visitor to your esteemed body, if I make it,
and I’m not monastic, e.g., read Reformed, with 21st century contours.
