1,000 Boxes of Hope

Local People Responding to a Global Challenge

World Vision

On December 1st, you are invited to participate in World Vision’s Care Giver Kit Build

World Vision Caregiver Kits

Every 14 seconds a child loses a parent to AIDS. Yet there is hope. Local volunteers and family members in Africa, Asia, and Latin America are already caring for people suffering from HIV/AIDS. But they lack even the simplest items needed to prolong lives and comfort the sick. Please join us on World AIDS Day, December 1st, 2007, to assemble Caregiver Kits for these volunteers so they can provide loving care for people who are suffering from HIV/AIDS.

The event begins at 10:00 am at Pioneer High School, 1290 Blossom Hill Road, San Jose, CA 95118. (map)

10:00 am Continental Breakfast Provided
