Subscription settings

We’re changing the way notifications work on the site. Now you’ll be able to customize your notifications based on your interests and preferences.

Activity on Your Posts or Comments

Get an e-mail whenever someone responds to one of your posts or comments. Simply go to My Account,

then Edit.

Scroll down the page until you get to the Subscription Settings box, and put a check mark into Autosubscribe.

Flexible Subscription Options

Want to pick and choose your content notification? Now you have several choices:
1. threads
2. categories
3. content types
4. rss feeds

You can subscribe to Forum threads when you’re reading a Forum post that is interesting to you. Simply look for the Subscribe Post link at the bottom edge of the post.

To try the other subscription options, go to My Account.

Then, select the Subscriptions tab.

Categories subscriptions let you select Forum areas, topics or tags (tags are categories that the person posting the topic has put their post in) that are interesting to you.

Content types let you opt to be notified of certain types content on the site. For example, this is where you can opt to be notified about new Series, Sunday Experience, or of any new forum topic posted to the site.
