Donations for June 29

Soldier Gift Boxes. This year we are going through a national organization called Adopt-a-Chaplain. Through the ministry of the troop chaplains we can show our gratitude, and we need your help! If you would be interested in donating any items for their boxes, please just leave it in the box in the auditorium on June 22nd or bring it with you on June 29th.

The Chaplains have given us a “shopping list” of some of the most frequently requested items by soldiers:

Food:
Energy Bars and Power Bars
Beef Jerky
Powder Drink Mixes (Crystal Light, Gatorade, etc.)
Individually Wrapped Candies (no chocolate)
Toiletries:
Hotel/Travel size toiletries
Chapstick & Sunscreen
Feminine Products
Shoe Insoles & Gold Bond Powder
Entertainment:
Music CDs of all varieties
DVDs (comedies and new releases)
X-Box and Playstation cartridges

Misters (anything to cut the summer heat)
Air Freshners (no aerosol)
Small Stuffed animals

What cannot be sent:
Pork products, alcohol, pornographic materials, aerosol cans
