Why aren't new topics listed first?

I know it doesn’t take much effort to hit the sort button by date, but it would be nice if the new topics came first for us lazy folks :-). And also if people come to the site for the first time it might be better for the more recent and active discussions to come first anyway.

Mornings would be great if they came later in the day

And you can also click on the Recent link at the top of the page.

The easiest way to sort through what’s new is to use the “Recent” link on the top menu of each page.

If you go to the forums and click the last reply button it puts it in the order from most recent reply. I am becoming brilliant with this! hee hee

i just always use recent links so i didnt notice. but i changed the default to most recent post.
