New to RSS Feeds?

If you haven't tried RSS feeds yet, you're missing out on a great time saver. Plus, they're available here on the J2 site.

Here's a video to help you out with this. Thanks to the guys at the Common Craft Show for creating this.

So Yeah

This is what it’s like to live with Tanya.

So just before I met her, I was dating a girl named Kelly. Kelly was pretty (Tanya affectionately called her a Barbie doll) but not a whole lot going on upstairs. Oh and she also turned out to be one of those Christians who went to bed feeling guilty about the people who went to hell that day because she didn’t share Christ with enough people. Kelly was fun to look at but not so smart.

Sometimes, I wish I had married Kelly because at least that way, I could always be the smart one in the marriage.

Alas, Tanya is pretty AND pretty smart. Many times, she’s ahead of me in understanding important and useful stuff.

Unsurprisingly, she taught me how to use RSS feeds a couple years ago. I didn’t “get” them at first (and poor Tanya has had to walk me through many basic tutorials in basic life skills over the years) but now my RSS feeds are instrumental to me keeping pace with all the information I want to keep up with.

Instead of visiting all kinds of sites, I just go to Google Reader to catch up on:

Tech News
Formula 1 News
Seven blogs I try to keep up with
Dave Matthews Band info
XBox 360 games info
Dilbert’s Blog
BMW news

It’s worth learning. Once you understand RSS, it’s literally a quick fix.

PS: I don’t regret marrying a smart chick! :-)

I believe in God because every once in a while, I hear a voice that says, “You’re my favorite.”

Thank you!

Tanya…thank you! I understand now :)
