More of Give More

This past Sunday we heard a few people share about how they GIVE MORE at the holidays and during other times of the year. In the first service we heard from Trey and his toy making, Linda and her support of Advent, and the MacInnes and their involvement with people who have what Tara had (sorry, can’t remember the name).

What were some of the other ways that maybe weren’t shared due to the time limits of the morning?

I received a great gift this year. I was given money to become a lender with the KIVA group. (www.kiva.org) This non-profit organization gives loans to low-income entrepreneurs in the world. This is just one more thing that I can do to help in the fight against global poverty. I’m anxious to become involved in this.

Often people want to get involved and give more but need suggestions or recommendations of organizations and causes. This would be a great place to share those.
