Wildflowers & Water? Come join us hiking this Saturday in Sunol...

When: 4/19 9am start
Where: Sunol Regional Wilderness (map attached)
Off I-680 exit at Calaveras Road/Highway 84 (past Fremont but south of of Pleasanton). Turn right on Calaveras and proceed to Geary Road, which leads directly into the park. If anyone wants to carpool we can meet at the Journey office parking lot at 7:30 and leave by 7:45, it should not take more than an hour to get there.
What: Canyon View Trail (apx 3 miles) Gentle rise in elevation.
Leads through Jacob`s Valley to Little Yosemite (should be lots of water here, great place to take off your hiking boots and enjoy). The trail is through weathered serpentine and sandstone outcrops, grassland (wildflowers should be awesome) & oak woodlands
Cost: $5 entrance fee + $2 additional for dogs
