My Favorite Charity

We sponsor a little girl, Csilla, in Romania through an organization called Caminul Felix (Happy Home). Caminul Felix builds homes where a set of parents live and take in an average of 12 orphans. The number of orphans in Romania is very high due to the economical and political situation. It’s amazing to see how well these children turn out, once they have a safe home and loving parents. My dad led a trip to Caminul Felix to build one of those homes. I went help, and was changed forever. Not only was I able to see God perform miracles in helping us build a completed home, furnishings and all, in 8 days…but to be able to be His hands by helping these children, was an amazing blessing to me.

Our family has been working with World-Wide Missions for 5 years. Not only is the time we spend in Honduras God’s greatest gift to us but this December we are celebrating a very succesful year of High School for our students. The Step Up Honduras program has been helping very needy students who otherwise could not attend school. It is so exciting to see these kids embrace this opportunity, they are so grateful; and we are so blessed by those from the States that ‘step up’ and help.
