Looking for a place for my son and I to call home

Hi everyone. My name is Stacy and I am a regular attendee here at the Journey. I have tried the Craigslist route…without much luck….so here it goes with Greg’s List. Figured it can’t hurt. Here’s my situation in a nutshell:

I am a single, Christian mother in my mid 30’s trying to find a place to call home for me and my wonderful 10 yr old boy Jordan who attends school in Almaden. I work very normal hours M-F, have great credit and references if needed. I typically spend my weekends either with my son at his many sports activities and doing the kid stuff. On my weekends without Jordan, I enjoy heading to the gym, hanging out with my girlfriends relaxing, going out to dinner or even just reading a good book or taking in a fun movie. I have been searching for a two bedroom apt., cottage..etc. for my son and I to call home preferably in Willow Glen, Campbell or Almaden so we can stay within 15 minutes drivetime to his school. I can afford $1200 - $1400/month.

Unfortunately I either find rentals that are in great neighborhoods, but are too pricey or they are within my price range, but are a total dump! I would be a very respectful and responsible tenant. Please keep me in mind if you have such a property or if you hear of anything that might work for us.
