Looking for "A Place"
I am looking for a Studio or 1 Bedroom place. I would really like to find a cottage or in-law apartment, but I am keeping my eye out for anything appealing. I don’t have to move right away, but am just starting to look now in case something good comes along. Let me know if you have something…or know of someone who does…or see something in your own neighborhood. I work in downtown San Jose and am looking in the surrounding areas.

Hey Devon,
I just found a place using Craig’s List. However, you have to check it ALOT and call right away about the places or else they are gone (some within an hour of being posted). It was like a full time job for about a week…ugh! Just any FYI—for places downtown, look now before all the fall SJSU students return. I drove neighborhoods I liked and got some good leads from that. Don’t know what you are looking at paying but Downtown, West San Jose and South San Jose are more affordable.

Forgot to ask, what square footage are you looking for? I may know of a “in-law studio” type place in Willow Glen.
