Postings from the past week
Where is the conversation that was happening last week at talkinchurch.com? I wanted to read that one but I don’t see where to find it anymore.
This website is getting really hard for me to follow with topics all over the place. I am not sure where to look for the topics we talked about today. I liked how the Beta version had a Sunday section where we could talk about what happened on Sunday. I think something like that would be a good idea. I’m not even sure where to post this so that right person finds it.
i too was wondering what to do with that.
so i guess its decided; i’ll put it here. you’re just gunna have to give me some time to get it together.
No problem
I am sure you are swamped with all the web stuff. Thanks for doing all this, Jeff!

Here are the postings form the (Un)conference teaser site.
continuing the conversation
Thanks for making these accessible, Jeff!
I think we all need to remember that the new site, logo, location, and un-conference doesn’t change the core of who we are. It just changes how and where we express ourselves. I think that the posts really show the spirit of the Journey. It’s people opening up the bible and engaging with each other to figure out what the heck it all means.
Remember the old rhyme “Here is the church, here is the steeple, open the doors, and here are the people.” Well, they got it wrong. The church is not the building (or the website or the un-conference or anything like that). The church is the body of Christ living life, learning, and struggling in community together. Can I get an AMEN!
The old website was great but it was also 5 years old. Anyone have the same haircut that you had 5 years ago? Have you not updated your house a bit in the last 5 years? The internet has gone interactive (you tube, my space, wikipedia, etc.). We want to be able to use this amazing medium to keep the engagement going well past the hour and 15 minutes we spend on a Sunday morning. And, it is totally working! It is 11:51pm and there were 33 people on this site just half an hour ago.
Frank, the fact that you were able to talk to Brian (one of your brothers in community) is awesome! That is more of what the Journey is about than any logo or location. That will never change. I will pray for you and your family. =)
