Ideas for Risking Comfort

We talked this past Sunday about being a saferous church. Here are a few of the posted ideas that centered around risking our comfort.
- Another church plant
- Go clean another church’s facility
- Admit and confess our sins to one another
- …bring God up in normal business conversations.
- Call [her] and let her know I am religious
- Admit anger towards God
Do you like any of these? Are any of these safe or are they dangerous?
If yours wasn’t included or got misrepresented, speak up!
Another Church
Planting additional new churches has been a passion for The Journey since the beginning.
This is part of our Vision.
It’s not a question of IF we will attempt to start another church - it’s a a question of WHEN.
Risky - yes.
But worth it.
Making connections and keeping them
Have our community impact teams find more people that we can establish an ongoing relationship with. We do great work for people during our community impact days but we don’t always use the opportunity to build an ongoing relationship with these people. I we have done ongoing work a few and those people felt really blessed and that they have some type of relationship with the Journey. More risky but worth it!
