This might be cool. I am all for finding new things to read and talk about with other people.

I’m in the book club and it is so great to read books and share our thoughts about what we have read. In fact, we can even do things like see a movie based on the book!

I am currently finishing up a book, but would like to join the next session of the book club. How do I go about signing up? Stacy

We meet on the 1st and 3rd Sunday of the month. Our meetings will start out at the Starbucks in the parking lot of Princton Plaza (Blossom Hill and Kooser). We meet after the second hour, probably around 12:30.

We are just starting this book, and it is a super easy read. If you want to read, we will be discussing the first 4 chapters. Even if you haven’t started reading feel free to come hang out!

I bought a copy of the book, after seeing that you all were reading it, because it sounded interesting. I might stop by this Sunday, although I might be a little late due to helping with tear down. If worse comes to worse I can at least discuss it with all of you here! I will make sure to at least have the first four chapters finished by this Sunday.

I’m interested in going! I think I should be able to make it to Starbucks and talk about it. I went and bought the book last night. I should be able to go and I’ll plan on being there at 12:30.

dont think ill be able to make it to the club- im wayyy too busy (and half the time im working at starbucks on sunday) but sounds interesting… would be glad to hear more about how this group operates

Where is the book club meeting this Sunday? I wasn’t able to make it to the last meeting, but I might be able to make it this Sunday. Either way I am enjoying the book so far, good times!

I’m so excited to expand our group! Here are the updates.

This week we will not have book club due to it being baptism week. My apologies for not getting putting it on the forum earlier. I’ve just leapt into the world of forums today. =)

This month we will be having book club on the second and fourth Sunday. As I mentioned, this Sunday is a baptism week and the third Sunday is Community Impact.

We will be finishing “How Starbucks Saved My Life.” It’s a great book! We also get to choose a new book, so bring all of your awesome ideas!

Community Impact is not on the 3rd Sunday. There is a meeting about it, I think, but I don’t know if any of us are going to that.
I think it is a good idea to meet next week, as Barbara said. But, we need to change to location since there isn’t room for us at Starbucks. Since we meet at 12:30/12:45, let’s do lunch.

The Starbucks is quite small and we won’t all be able to fit but I thought we could all meet there, grab a coffee…or not, and then all go as a group to lunch at McDonald’s or the coffee shop there. Who’s got ideas? I’m glad to hear them!

Hello again all Journeymen and women. The Journey Book Club has decided to take a vacation. We will begin meeting the third Sunday of January with a brand new book, soon to be announced. We have also moved the time to 1pm so all of our faithful tear down helpers can make it! WHOOOHOOOO I’m excited to see what will become of our club. Everyone is welcome.
