Anyone interested in a new LTG?
Hi everyone!
My name is Leticia and I’m somewhat new to the Journey. I started attending one year ago and then took a break for the last six months. Now I’m back for good and want to start an LTG. I was wondering if anyone was interested in being in the group with me? I was thinking meeting on Saturday’s or Sunday’s depending on what works for everyone. Thanks for the reply. Sorry I couldn’t get to you sooner - I don’t get chances to really check email at work. I’ll give you a call sometime this weekend to set up when we can meet. Meeting at a park sounds great and I can’t wait to meet you and your daughter. I’m not sure where you live, but there’s a park near my house with a playground for kids and lots of grass to run around. I am new to the Journey also—New Year’s resolution for 08 was to find a new church home and here we are. I’ve recently gotten involved with the ambience team and actually enjoy working to help set up on Sundays (not every Sunday, though). Anyway I am looking for a small group of “like minded people” with whom I can talk, pray, or read the Bible.
I teach part time Mon-Fri; I have 3 children (school age). Some evening might work (after 7:00) or Saturday, Sunday afternoon.
If you would like another partner, give me a call. Not sure if you have been meeting yet.
Anyway, looking forward to getting connected.

Yes please join us we’d love to have someone else in the group. We just started the group last week and are trying to find a good schedule and going week by week sort of. We had been thinking weekends to meet like after church. Evenings are sort of hard for me because of my job. y job is in Santa Clara and I don’t get off until 6 so I’m not home until at least 7 - I’d feel a bit rushed. Let’s talk and figure something out :-D

Both of you have posted your phone numbers so will try to give a call tomorrow (Monday). My schedule is regular but a bit confusing with my part time job and my kids—probably best to discuss the possibilities on the phone. Weekends are a possibility—guess we just need to talk to work something out. So I will call.

Well I still have to call Maureen - I haven’t talked to her on the phone yet. Mindy and I have been meeting on Sunday’s after the second service or when we can if that doesn’t work out. For me weekends work best for the most part with an occassional weeknight. I know that Mindy has a five year old daughter and may not want to be out too late so she can have an early night. Feel free to call me and I’ll figure out what works best for everyone else and let you know.

Wow! Ok, some how we all need to be at the same place at the same time. So how about Sat. the 17th say 12-ish. We can all have lunch @ my house and work out our schedules. All are welcome! Wow, who knew it would be so difficult
Hope all had a wonderful Mother’s day—I did but it’s been really busy. Turns out this coming Saturday will not work for me as my husband has to go up to the City to help our niece move. That leaves me with 3 kids who may or may not be able to maintain. If you are open to three kids coming, I’m still open to getting together.
Let me know—otherwise we’ll just have to keep trying. When the school year is over (June 13) my schedule will be a lot less harried as I won’t be teaching any more.
