Lectico Divina Experience
Lectio Divina is Latin for divine reading, spiritual reading, or “holy reading,” and represents a tradi-
tional Christian practice of prayer and scriptural reading intended to engender communion with the Triune God and to increase in the knowledge of God’s Word. It is a way of praying with Scripture that calls one to study, ponder, listen and, finally, pray and even sing and rejoice from God’s Word, within
the soul.
This experience will happen this coming Thursday June 25th from 7-8:30pm at The Journey office which will be transformed with some candles, pillows, and rugs for people to fully engage. Please be prepared with a Bible, and open heart, and a willingness to try this experience. Summer Intern Scott Falkowski will be leading this experiential process as part of our overall Journey Growth Academy opportunities.
